Sophie

Location: Shirley, Arkansas DOB: 1/24/2022 (ESTIMATE) Sophie came to us from a neglect case, but she is still as sweet as pie. It shows how forgiving these sweet dogs can be! Despite her past Sophie is a complete angel. She’s good with dogs, cats, chickens, and kids. She is house trained. She is not crate trained (has never been in one) but she’s an excellent house guest and can be left out without destroying anything. Car rides are new to her but she does just fine. The leash is also new to her but her foster is making great progress. This will be an area of continued training in her forever home. From her foster mom: She enjoys being outside, walks and running around. She is leashed outside the fence as she has bursts of energy. Doesn’t test the fence when off leash inside the fence area. Likes to be alone and protects her bowl when eating, but no food aggression. Just walks away from the food if others come up. She gets along with kids really well and loves to stay by their side when on walks. Doesn’t bother the chickens or cats at all. She’s a couch hog for sure!
