Meet Sox, a gentle and loving 5-6-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing about 50 lbs. Sox is a quiet, soft-hearted soul who thrives on companionship and is happiest when she’s with her person, no matter what they’re doing. This sweet girl is a true Velcro dog—she just wants to be by your side. Sox has a lower energy level and is perfectly content relaxing with you throughout the day. She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. Sox is fully housebroken and does not need a crate when indoors—she’s very well-behaved and will quietly hang out, enjoying your company. Unfortunately, Sox has some separation anxiety, likely stemming from trauma or neglect in her past, and she doesn’t do well when left alone or crated. She’s looking for a loving companion who can be with her most of the time—perhaps a retired person, someone who works from home, or anyone who has the time and love to offer her.
