Meet SPENCER Hi! I’m Spencer and I’m a big hunk of love!!! I am a very handsome boy and I know it! I love to cuddle and lay on you so I can smother you with hugs and kisses! When I’m not snuggling my favorite people, I am full of energy and have the cutest zoomies! I do get anxious when my favorite people aren’t around but if I have toys I will stay busy for a little while! I am potty trained and only have accidents when my people don’t let me out in time or I get overly anxious. This improves once I feel safe with my family and I learn your routine. I absolutely love kids and love to play with them, but sometimes I forget how big and solid I am, so I might accidentally knock a small child over, out of excitement. Children over 8 or 10 years old would probably be best. I get so excited to see my family, that I sometimes jump up, but my foster mom is working with me on it! I love treats, so I learn new things quickly with the right motivation. I already know sit! I sit really pretty because I’m a good boy! I make friends with other dogs but I do tend to like to play using my mouth and not all of my friends understand this! I have never bit one of them or even acted aggressively toward anyone or anything! I don’t mind people touching my ears, tail, or food when I eat! I’m a certified chunky boy though and I love food! I am kennel trained and as long as I have soft blankets my kennel is my safe spot! I like when the door is left open so I can come and go as I please! I will always let you know when I have to use the bathroom or I need something! I love playing tug of war and keep away with my friends. When I first meet people I can get very excited, however I do calm down fairly quickly with proper direction. I love people so much I sometimes have a hard time controlling my excitement I love playing in water but big pools scare me a little. I enjoy baths and do well in them. I’d love to meet you and become a part of your family!!!! I promise you that I’ll make you happy and you will fall in love with me! Spencer is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.
