Meet Squid! Squid is a lovable 8-year-old pit mix searching for a warm and caring home to spend his golden years. Although he has faced some challenges, including a diagnosis of grade 2 soft tissue sarcoma on his back right leg, which has been fully removed, he continues to thrive. Squid is also deaf, a fact we discovered after rescuing him from a local shelter, but that doesn’t hold him back! In his foster home, Squid has shown incredible resilience. He is crate-trained and housebroken, making him an easygoing companion. He can go into a home with other dogs and kids 12 and up! Despite his medical conditions, Squid radiates joy and energy—he loves to stroll around, socialize with other dogs, and attend adoption events. His affectionate nature and love for people make him a fantastic mellow companion.
