Staphon

Staphon is a 1ish year old, 70ish lb, very handsome Black Lab that will make a fabulous pet for a family looking for a friendly and smart Lab who wants to be apart of the family! He has had a very unsecure past and has been moved around at no fault of his own, and is looking for a stable and loving family that will give him lots of love and affection forever. He is still a puppy so will need a home where they are committed to giving him the exercise and direction he will need to be a good boy. We have been told: "His owner passed away and owner's girlfriend gave him to me to find him a new home. I do not know if he was crated by his now deceased owner, but I have not crated him. He still has puppy behaviors - chews on leash when frustrated, and needs lots more regular exercise. Staphon is very sweet and smart. He knows how to sit but would definitely benefit from more obedience training and regular exercise. He loves to play with other dogs. He plays with my two dogs. Has not shown aggression towards cats that we see outside, but do not know if he is cat friendly, but he is good with all people."
