Stevie

STEVIE is an adorable 12lb boy about 5-6 yrs of age. We rescued him from the shelter where he ended up after being out loose for many days. We were informed that his owner passed away and the next of kin did not want him… We can’t understand why because he’s the best little dog!! STEVIE is very affectionate and deeply loves his humans. He is happiest spending the day in your company, following you around the house, sitting on your lap, accompanying you on your errands or going on daily walks. He’s ready for anything that includes being with you! STEVIE Has just the right mixture of energy… He can go on multiple walks or even hiking, but also can just hang out in the house and chill on a lazy day. He can be a bit of a puller on the leash so we have been working on his leash skills and he’s learning to walk nicely by your side. He really does like exploring new places! STEVIE is housetrained as long as he can be let outside to potty frequently. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He will protest being in the crate during the day by whining at first, but eventually will resign to settling in when he realizes he is not going to convince you to take him out. (Smart boy!) lol STEVIE has a great temperament/disposition with people. He’s very friendly and eager to meet new people and will freely give out kisses to those who will accept them! He has been okay with other dogs in his foster home, although he is not interactive/playful with them. He really prefers just being around his humans. STEVIE is not a fan of the cats in his foster home and barks non stop when he sees them, so he will need a home without cats. STEVIE has not been around children in his foster home (we don’t know if he has been around children in his past) but feel with his good demeanor STEVIE would be okay with children over 6 yrs of age who are respectful of handling a small dog. STEVIE’S adoption fee is $550 which Includes current health examination, current vaccinations, neuter, microchip, flea and deworming treatment, along with current extensive dental work.
