My Story

Meet Stevie, your energetic and affectionate workout buddy with a heart of gold! This high-energy guy thrives on long walks and adventures, always strutting proudly on his loose-leash. He's a big fan of treats and, with a little redirection, is quick to focus and work for his favorite snacks. Stevie is also a puzzle toy pro, always keeping his mind busy and sharp. When he's feeling extra playful, he gets the zoomies, racing around with pure joy that's sure to make you smile. Stevie's love language? Words of affirmation! He adores being told "good boy" (because he truly is) and can't get enough of baby talk and positive reinforcement. This sweet pup loves being babied, especially with his favorite butt scratches. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to join you on your adventures and snuggle sessions, Stevie is ready to steal your heart! If you're interested in adopting Stevie, click the "Adopt Me" button to complete an application here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/9bedcecd-c508-4393-a0d4-15d2d37daa44 *The ASPCA Adoption Center encourages a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.* For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps. **The ASPCA is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care and our staff, and we are keeping a close eye on developments related to the COVID-19 crisis as they evolve. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet. Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you find your match!**
