? Located in Milwaukee Wisconsin; SUGAR Sugar Plum, is a 2-4 year old part Chihuahua and Maltese and possibly more, a beauty at 5lbs. She was spayed, dental to come soon. She is one of the 6 dogs from Arknasas that came into rescue thanks to NCMR. She was the most shy of the bunch and very much had a shell around her. She came to foster care where she blossomed. There are other dogs in her foster home which helps bring her out of her shell. In a few days of decompressing, her tail came up, which shows off a beautiful little dog. She runs to the door to go outside and enjoys a yard to run in. Zoomies have become her favorite thing to do. She is very good with going potty outside and never has gone in the house. Sugar is very quite and shy around new people. Once she warms up to you, she is all about laps and kisses. Sugar is not an active dog. She would prefer a lap, dog bed, or couch to sleep on, more of a couch potato dog. She does not know how to walk on a leash, but with work, she will learn. She does love to ride in a stroller and just look around. A calm, quite house would be the best for her with a clam doggie friend. She is not much of a barker, but if others are barking she will join in. She does well with grooming and doesnt mind it at all. She listens very well. Call her name, and she will come running.
