My Story

PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION SUGAR IS BEING FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT IS ABLE TO TRAVEL TO IOWA ON ONE OF OUR UPCOMING TRANSPORTS. Sugar, a lovable Boxer and Pit Bull Terrier mix who was rescued from the euthanasia list at a small county shelter in Texas due to lack of space. At approximately 1 year old, she’s a petite girl with a heart-shaped mark on her nose, adding to her charm! Sugar is house-trained and crate-trained, making her a great addition to any home. She has a medium energy level, which means she’s ready for playtime but also enjoys relaxing cuddles on the couch. With her funny, sweet, and loving personality, Sugar is eager to become part of a family that will give her all the love and care she needs. If you’re looking for a playful companion with a heart of gold, Sugar is the pup for you! Sugar is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. If you're interested in adopting this sweet girl, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering giving Sugar the loving home she deserves!
