My Story

Sugar's story is one of resilience and hope. She was found on January 7th, tied to a pole in heartbreaking condition. Despite the odds, this brave girl has made incredible progress thanks to her fighting spirit and the care of kindhearted people. However, she still needs ongoing medical treatment for her skin and eye infections, and she's looking for a loving foster-to-adopt home where she can continue her journey toward full recovery. What Sugar needs: A calm, quiet home: Sugar thrives in a peaceful environment without a lot of activity. Patience & Love: She's been through a lot and deserves someone who will give her the extra care and attention she needs.Compatibility: Sugar did okay when introduced to other dogs and cats, though she can be a bit stiff. A slow introduction to any pets in the home is essential. Medical Support: She still requires treatment, so someone willing to provide ongoing care and attend veterinary appointments would be ideal. What Sugar Offers: A Loving Companion: Sugar is looking for a "soft place to land" where she can feel safe and loved. Gratitude & Loyalty: Despite her past, Sugar has a big heart and so much love to give to the right person. The Joy of Giving Back: By fostering or adopting Sugar, you're giving her the second chance she truly deserves. If you can open your heart and home to this sweet senior girl, please reach out to us. Sugar deserves a warm, safe, and loving home where she can spend her golden years. Let's help Sugar find her happily ever after! Requirements: Martingale Collar; Foster to Adopt for Senior MedicalAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
