Sunny

Meet Sunny! She’ll warm your lap, melt your heart and put a smile on your face. Sunny is appropriately named. She often seems to have a smile on her face. She loves every person she meets, and loves to play with the resident dogs. She’s pretty good at going with the flow- whether that means napping while her foster mom works, trying to puzzle out what her foster family is so busy doing in the kitchen (and hoping something falls on the floor), or playing chase with her foster brother. She’s so easily content and will fall asleep in her crate as well as on the floor, couch, or on her people’s laps. She’s a nice medium size and has fur the color of honey butter that's so soft and silky. Along with her smile, she often has one ear that sticks up and one that folds over giving her an adorably silly quality. She is so charming and irresistible. To Sunny, there are no strangers, just friends she hasn’t met yet. With her calm demeanor and sweet disposition, she might be a good therapy dog candidate. Sunny sleeps through the night in her crate and is house-trained on a schedule. She’s dog and people friendly, and if I were to guess, I’d say she was kid-friendly. She just has not had the opportunity to be around kids yet. Does your life need a little more light in it? This pup is always Sunny! She’s a precious gem that will add so much love to any person or people. Sunny is estimated to be 1 year old and 33 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
