Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $800 Sunset is a 10 week old Dachshund mix who can't wait to take in all the oranges and reds of the sky with you! Sunset was surrendered to the shelter as an unwanted Christmas present. Sadly, we see a lot of puppies in the shelter after the holidays and we knew we had to scoop him up and do right by him in finding his forever home. Sunset currently weighs 5 pounds and we expect he will max out around 13-16 pounds as an adult. He is a petite little man ready to take the world by storm! Come and find your perfect sunset with Mr. Sunset! Sunset is a loving and snuggly little gentleman who will win you over with his puppy dog eyes from the minute you meet him! Sunset loves his humans and follows his foster mom around faithfully as she goes about her daily chores. Sunset loves cuddling and will clamber onto any open lap he finds, rolling over onto his back for belly rubs and scratches. Sunset has an ever-growing collection of toys he would love to continue adding to once he finds his forever humans (it's hard to resist such a cute little face). Sunset loves sleeping on a warm lap or blanket so he's happy to keep you company during long workdays! Like most puppies, he alternates between lounging on the couch and zooming around at top speeds. He has so much to show the world and he can't wait to get his next adventure started! According to his foster mom, he gives the best snuggles and she knows he will make himself right at home with the lucky family who adopts him! Sunset wakes up around 8 AM and gets lots of snuggles before he is ready for breakfast. In the morning, he alternates between showing off his zoomies, cuddling, playing with his toys, and snoozing. He has lunch at 1 PM and then he spends a few hours running around in the backyard as he soaks up California sunshine! He takes a nap until dinner at 7 PM and then spends the rest of his evening snuggled on the couch with his foster humans until he heads to bed. Sunset is fostered with two dogs and they get along well. He would benefit from a confident companion. Interested homes must be prepared to continue training and socialization. He has been doing great on his crate training and potty pad training so far with his foster humans. Sunset would love to find a home where his people want to make him the center of their universe, as he is just so ready to shower you in love and adoration.
