Sunshine

Sunshine is a gentle and loving eight-year-old German Shepherd who was rescued from the streets in January. Despite her past hardships, her spirit remains unbroken, and her heart is full of love. Having successfully completed her heartworm treatment, Sunshine is now ready to find her forever home where she can enjoy her golden years. Though she may be shy at first, Sunshine just needs a little time to adjust to her surroundings. She can be sensitive to noise when she's outside, but once she feels safe, her sweet and loyal nature shines through. She gets along well with other dogs and adores people once she gets to know them. Sunshine is also crate trained, potty trained, and an all-around good girl. Sunshine deserves a family that will cherish her, providing the warmth and security she's been longing for. If you're interested in adopting Sunshine, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
