MEET SUZIE! Sadly, Suzie was found laying in the middle of the road. They thought she was hit by a car and dead! Suzie was fine... she just stopped walking and laid down in the road!! Suzie was neglected and in terrible shape! Her hair literally grew into a cocoon around her body and she had dreadlocks!! Underneath all that hair we found the sweetest little thing! Sadly, her belly was swollen and huge so we took her to the vet. Her abdomen was filled with fluid and she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure... our hearts were just broken! Suzie is an 8 year old Skorkie and weighs about 8lbs. She is a lover of life and she is not going to let this get in her way!! Suzie is thriving on her medication and the fluid in her belly has gone down considerably and she is doing great! She has no symptoms at all!! Suzie is calm and gentle and as sweet as can be. She is great with other dogs and enjoys eating!! Suzie is looking for a foster or an adopter and her medication is covered for life by Mini Mutts!
