Sweet Pea

Please welcome Sweet Pea to PugHearts! Sweet Pea was found in a box next to a business with her 8-week-old puppy. She was itchy and had patchy hair loss on her back and extremities which is getting better everyday thanks to medication and frequent medicated baths. Sadly, she is heart worm positive so it will be a few months before she is ready to be adopted. Sweet Pea lives up to her name because she is the sweetest! She’s the perfect age at about 4 years old, gets along with our dogs and loves playing with toys. Her favorite place is close to her person, and she isn’t picky, she loves everyone and any lap! She sleeps quietly in the crate at night and any time we leave during the day, but she needs a little encouragement to get into the crate. House training is going well with only a couple of accidents since she has been with us. While Sweet Pea will not be adoption ready until she completes heart worm treatment, she would love to have her forever home waiting for her when she is ready.
