Hey, hey, hey! My name is Sweets! Why? Because not only am I the most adorable young pup at the shelter, but I’m also so sweet—I’ll give you a toothache! A little bit about me: I am an 11-month-old, spayed female, large mixed-breed dog. I came to AVAS from Detroit in hopes of finding a new home. I was found as a stray on the streets of Detroit, and the stellar animal control team helped me get safely to the shelter. From there, I asked to move up north—so here I am! My personality is, obviously, sweet, but I’m also playful, bubbly, and a little submissive when I roughhouse with my other doggy friends at the shelter! I’m very smart, and I’ve learned how to walk on a leash. I love treats and will do anything for them! I’ll need a patient home that’s willing to teach me all the things I need to grow up and be a certified good dog! I might have accidents, and I might chew on things, but can you blame me? I’m a puppy! If you show me the ropes, I’ll show you all the love.
