Hurry…. Act swiftly…. To fall in love and adopt Swift!!! Yes, she’s going to warm your heart and home on these cold days! Swift is a 1 year old Australian Sheperd/Husky mix. She weighs 45 pounds and is going to be a fun, energetic, endearing companion! No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications will not be accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have dogs and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested. Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
