Meet Sylvia!
This adorable tiny cutie is 2y old and 8.5lbs of snuggles. She's loving city life after coming to us with 29 other dogs from a collector's home in TX. Very loved, but too many of them for city limits!
As you can see from her pics, she's partial to a fashionable outfit and never met a bed she didn't like. She's also a certified subway #bagdog rider.
Her foster says:
"Sylvia is a sweet, affectionate girl who will quickly win you over with her loving nature and easygoing personality. She loves to be near her person, especially if it means snuggling up for a belly rub — it’s one of her favorite things! She’s a quick learner and eager to please. With a bit of training and consistency, she’ll be an even more perfect companion.
On walks, Sylvia does well on the leash, though she’s still improving. That said, she’s adapted incredibly well to the busy streets of NYC and even to riding the subway — she’s not fazed by the hustle and bustle, and she’s perfectly content to go wherever you go. Sylvia is friendly with other dogs she meets on walks and is a curious, social pup, though she’s not overly interested in getting too close.
She’s been wonderful around strangers when we’re out and about, friendly and affectionate without being too demanding.
Sylvia is also a fantastic work companion. She’s happy to settle down by your feet, content to snooze while you go about your day. But don’t let her calm demeanor fool you — she definitely has her playful moments! After a long day, she’ll often get the zoomies, running around with pure joy.
Sylvia has been an incredible companion throughout the city. She’s always ready to accompany me on adventures, whether it’s a quick errand or a day out in the neighborhood. She’s also pretty low-maintenance when it comes to personal care — she tolerates baths and paw cleaning with ease.
Sylvia would do well in a home with or without other dogs. She came from a multi-dog household, so she’s used to having canine friends, but she’d also be just as happy as the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion who’s ready to join you in all your adventures, Sylvia is the perfect match!"
