ID 57731801 Meet Tage! This young guy (maybe 1-2 yrs of age) was found as a stray, and posted on pages to be found but was never claimed. He then found himself at the shelter wondering why he was in this chaotic kennel environment. He will express to you when you walk by he wants out, which is very common for many of the shelter dogs. Tage is a strong boy that appears to have had little training on leash manners so he will absolutely need a helping hand to let him know the “rules of the road”. He also can be jumpy for attention so 4 paws on the ground for treats and praise is also on his list of things to accomplish. He does know sit, you just have to make sure you follow thru and let him know he doesn’t get his reward until he shows you how well he can perfect it. He does take his treats gently. Tage has a playful fun side to him. He has some higher energy in the yard and will need another dog to understand him, and engage in either the same style, or let him know when it’s enough. For lack of better words, he can be “humpy” but with correction, he will get that this is not acceptable. This guy sure could use some help to get his coat nice and shiny, and we are sure with proper nutrition, some soothing baths, he will shine. He has an adorable face and is ready to use those puppy’ish eyes on you to get his way. Come on down and meet this guy if you can give him the structure he needs to succeed!
