My Story

Tallulah is a young female mix breed, (possibly border Collie and Shepherd), medium size, who is looking for a loving family. Tallulah was recently rescued this winter after she was spotted showing up at a feral cat feeding station. The colony caretaker tracked Tallulah back to any area where she was living under a pile of rubble under an abandoned home to stay warm. She was living there for over a month's when she was finally secured and rescued. Tallulah has spent a couple weeks in a fantastic foster home and has done an enormous amount of decompressing. What has been discovered about this resilient and remarkable canine is that despite all of the hardships she has endured is her young life, she is truly an amazing dog! Tallulah's foster mom reports that Tallulah is a very loving girl who is good with people and dogs of all sizes as well as cats. She is blind in one eye, but that does not stop her from being absolutely fabulous! Tallulah is a gentle and also very playful. She loves her chew toys! She is also extremely cuddly. She enjoys sleeping next to you or on your lap. Tallulah is house trained. She is extremely intelligent, and rings a bell to be let out in the back yard for a potty break. She listens to correction. She is good on a leash, but is shy at first due to the time she lived outside on her own. She would make a fantastic family addition and would do very well with another dog.
