My Story

Tammy is a gorgeous, 3 month old Yorkie. Puppies are very popular, so please note ONLY homes meeting the below requirements will be considered. This ensures the best overall environment for these little bundles. Applicant MUST have: * Another young playful dog in the house to help the puppy with stimulation and learn to be a dog. * No first time dog owners * Household member age appropriate to physically care for the dog for entire life (16 years) * Children old enough to treat puppy with responsibility and care * Within local area to use rescue vet partner to complete all vaccinations and spay/neuter Please don’t apply unless you meet the above criteria. Remember we are volunteers doing the best we can to get back to you, and we appreciate your patience. Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting [email protected]. [NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
