His tail is always wagging and he's happy to be around anyone! Tank didn't seem to love other male dogs through the fence but hasn't been tested in a playgroup. He did fine with a female pup...He lived in a home with other dogs but they muzzled him for safety precautions. Tank may do fine with other dogs...it's difficult to truly test that in a shelter environment. Tank is house trained and knows some basic commands. He would love to learn more! A round of positive reinforcement training classes would be most beneficial for Tank. Shelter staff advise older (10+) respectful children. Note from the shelter: This handsome boy has been waiting patiently at the shelter for over 100 days, and it’s time for him to find his forever home. Tank is on the smaller side for his breed, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s got a huge heart! He’s a playful pup who loves nothing more than a good game of fetch and soaking up all the scratches and attention you can give. While he’s not the biggest fan of other male dogs, with a proper introduction he might make a new friend. Tank deserves a loving home where he can thrive and be appreciated for the wonderful dog he is. No dog should spend this long in a shelter, and Tank’s hoping his special person will see him and give him the second chance he so deserves! Could that be You? Please contact the Washington City Animal Shelter (above) for more information on Tank. Don't wait...his time is running out. BREED: Bully breed blend AGE: 6 years HEALTH: All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped. GOOD WITH: Other dogs; older (10+) respectful children; cats and other small animals unknown
