My Story

Name: Tari Age: Estimated 1 year Sex: Neutered Male Weight: 8 kg (~17.6 lbs) Energy Level: Medium-High Rescue Story: Tari was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Hongsung, South Korea. He is currently being fostered in South Korea and will fly to the U.S. once he finds his potential family. The approved family will have a two-week trial period to ensure a great match and long-term commitment. Personality & Behavior - People: Tari loves being around both men and women. He happily greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail. - Other Dogs: Tari enjoys the company of both large and small dogs. He’s playful and friendly, always happy to make new doggy friends. - Cats & Other Animals: Tari may get a little excited when he sees cats, so a bit of supervision is recommended. - Home Alone: While Tari doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, he may chew on shoes or other items, which is typical for his age. - Crate Training: Tari is crate-trained and feels comfortable in his crate. - Car Rides: He enjoys car rides and does not experience motion sickness. - Bathing & Grooming: Tari handles baths and grooming well. - Barking: He’s generally quiet and doesn’t bark excessively. Training & Potty Habits - Leash Walking: Tari walks well on a leash, although he may get excited in new environments. With continued practice, he’s improving steadily. - Potty Training: He’s fully house-trained for outdoor pottying. - Behavior Around Food: He doesn’t scavenge for food on walks and patiently waits for his treats. Daily Routine Morning: Wakes up around 4 AM, has breakfast, and enjoys a morning walk if the weather is good. Midday: Lunch is around noon, followed by some playtime or rest. Evening: He has dinner around 4 PM and often goes for another walk or playtime at 6 PM. Favorite Activities: Tari loves running and playing in fenced-in yards or parks. He enjoys chewing on toys and exploring his surroundings. Like most young dogs, Tari is going through a chewing phase and has been known to chew on shoes (especially flip-flops!). Health & Care - Tari is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, except for the Lyme disease vaccine (which will be the adopter’s responsibility). - He has no known allergies and enjoys a wide variety of treats. Ideal Home: Tari would be a wonderful fit for a home with or without other pets. He’s friendly, affectionate, and adaptable, making him a great companion for families or individuals. As a young dog, he still has plenty to learn and improve on, so he needs a family that can provide patience, love, and the ongoing care and stimulation he deserves throughout his lifetime. Regular exercise and a nurturing environment will help him thrive. Adoption Information Tari’s adoption fee is $650, which includes his transportation to the U.S. If you think Tari might be the perfect addition to your family, please read through his profile and fill out the adoption application here: [https://forms.gle/WfjPnysBUJLypUYf6].
