My Story

Perhaps there is a dog out there that’s “intertwined in the magic fabric of your dreaming” - if this sounds like you, allow us to introduce our very own “The Black Dog” fittingly named TAYLOR after Taylor Swift. She has been vetted, spayed, and microchipped and is ready to make her way home to you, at “the starting line” and all! If you’re thinking that your family is ready for a truly special girl, read on for her story and instructions on how to add her to your lives! Please also check out her siblings Jose and Romeo! Here is what we know about this “lover” girl pup: - She is @ 4 months old now, and weighs approximately 20lbs! - Our vet believes that she is a Lab mix, and will be medium/large when full grown - Taylor and her siblings have been thriving in foster care for the last few weeks and are ready to land in their forever homes! Foster mom says they are are very sweet group of pups just looking for a home to call their own. - Taylor is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health - Taylor is a very smart young lady – we expect her to pick up training very quickly! She is already using a doggy door to go potty outside, and is working on her leash training - Taylor and her siblings are still puppies, so will need their future homes to work with them on training and reinforcements. - Taylor loves other dogs, and would do great with a playmate at home who is willing to engage in playtime. Taylor has been exposed to dogs of all sizes in foster care, and is a very social girl! - Taylor hasn’t been exposed to cats, but we think she would do just fine with a “dog savvy” cat who could tolerate some puppy antics! - Because Taylor and her siblings are full of puppy antics, we are recommending that they go to a family with kids 6 and up, or dog savvy family who understands puppy boundaries. Taylor has been exposed to children and has done well. -We would love to see Taylor go to an active home that will have lots of dedicated playtime as she grows! What we love about Taylor: She has gorgeous tuxedo markings - check out those paws! Is Taylor the one for you? She’s got her doggie bags packed and is ready to make her way home to you! Her adoption fee is $500! That covers all of her vetting and care up until the point of adoption. If interested, please reach out to Brittany @ [email protected], and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link! *Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
