We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Ted, 12 weeks (estimated DOB 8/1/24), male, Pitbull Terrier mix, estimated to be a medium/large size when full grown. He is in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an adopter is approved. Ted and his four siblings were dumped at a local PetSmart in the San Antonio area. Thankfully, a person working at the store picked them up and was able to foster them. Ted is a sweet love bug who is both playful and curious but also enjoys his chill time. He is a little shy when first meeting people, but warms up quickly. He loves to play with other dogs and sunbathe. He is not fully housebroken (is working on it) and has spent some time crated. He is able to interact with other dogs and is your typical playful puppy. We have no history with cats or kids. For kids, we always recommend and consider homes where families understand the importance of healthy boundaries and supervision between children and animals. We recommend a home with another well-balanced dog to help mentor Kendall. If no other dog in the home, please note your plan for socialization once old enough to do so. Puppies bring a lot of joy, but they also require dedication to socialization, leash training, and basic obedience. Puppies under 6 months of age are placed on a spay/neuter contract until they are old enough to be altered. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will is available to spend time with this puppy while you are aware. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
