MEDICAL: Special Needs- Blind! Heartworm negative; up to date on Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella and Lymes; Full blood panel looks great; on heartworm and flea/tick prevention PERSONALITY: If you’re looking to give a deserving dog a chance at a new life, look no further! Teddy is an 8 year old, 16 pound Lhasa Apso mix ready for his forever home. Poor Teddy was in pretty bad shape when we took him in to Grateful Paws. He was a stray found in Cleveland with horrible eye infections and dry eye that had probably never been treated his whole life. He could not see out of either eye and they were bulging and painful, so Teddy underwent surgery to have both eyes removed. He came through the surgery beautifully and has adapted just fine! He’ll need someone to be patient helping him adjust to a new home, however, he definitely has the ability to move around and live a happy life! Teddy is currently being fostered in a house with other dogs and gets along well with them. He has never had an accident inside and sleeps in his crate when his fosters are not at home. He really enjoys cuddling on the couch (you will have to lift him up there with you though!) and would love to have someone’s lap to call his own! Now that his eyes are fixed, Teddy is healthy as can be, updated on his vaccines, and even had a dental done!
