Teddy

Teddy is such a sweetheart and now available for adoption. This handsome young man has been with his foster for a little over a week and is learning what it is like to be loved and not afraid. His foster has the following to say about him: Teddy has come a long way in just the week I’ve had him. He’s still hesitant about walking outside or inside, even with encouragement from me. He’s very sweet, laid back, and affectionate and not too energetic for a 2 (?) year old but with a playful sister or brother he might come out of his shell more. I think he’s learning new things as he progresses through life with us. With a regular schedule he’s learning how to potty outside. He will use a pad when he can’t get outside. He isn’t interested in using my doggie door but I think he’s a little afraid of it. I’ve tried coaxing with treats and he comes close… He’s good with dogs, but I don’t know about cats. Walks on a leash, albeit a little reluctantly, or hesitatingly. Patience, patience, and love. Teddy is up to date on all vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
