Hi there! My name is Tess. I am an Australian cattle dog/blue heeler. Believed to be a year old. I have come a long way with my foster mom. I am working on gaining weight but I have lots and lots of energy. I can play fetch for hours and not get tired. It's my favorite thing to do. When I'm not playing fetch I like my alone time snuggled up on the couch or going for a car ride. I get along with my foster moms dogs but I think I would prefer to be the only dog. I need to be with someone who has the same energy as me. And the time to keep me busy i am a very energetic dog. I am a very smart girl. I know sit, lay down, shake, fetch, find my toy, and could learn so much more. I also can jump very high and run very fast so I need a big fenced in yard. I am potty trained and crate trained. I also love getting up early in the morning to start my day of play. I am a very cuddly lovable lady looking for my furever home. Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
