Thelma

Meet Thelma! She is an adorable 16 week old mixed breed puppy, believed to possibly be Pitbull and maybe dachshund, she is a cute little low rider! She came to us with her sister Louise after they showed up on someone’s property with their mom and were never reclaimed. The family reached out for help placing the two girls and we offered to take them in. They have been in foster care for a few weeks and here is what we have learned. Thelma is a very sweet puppy with lots of love to give! She is playful and athletic, she loves racing around the yard and wrestling with her foster siblings. She loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She is a social little girl and is very friendly to those she meets. She is very affectionate, loves to cuddle up on the couch and give lots of kisses. Thelma is doing great with house and crate training, she keeps her crate dry. She does prefer to sleep in bed versus a crate at night, especially with the colder weather. Thelma would love an active and playful fur sibling in her new home. She is very smart and picks new things up quickly, she would love to find a family that will take her to training to help her be the best dog she can be. She is a very sweet girl and will make some loving family very happy. Thelma is current on vaccinations, microchipped, on heartworm prevention, and scheduled to be spayed in a few weeks.
