We are smitten with Thelma, and we think you will be, too! Meet Thelma, a beautiful German Shepherd rescued from Marion County, South Carolina. Thelma is 2 years old and weighs 54 pounds. She has a stunning black and brown coat and the most deep chocolate eyes, so easy to get lost in. Thelma is a very sweet girl who adores people. Shes happiest when she can relax and spend her days in a gentle, calm environment. She is very loving and submissive, still adjusting to her new life and learning that she is safe and loved now. Thelma would appreciate a family who will offer her patience as she continues to find her confidence and embrace her chance to truly be a happy dog. Thelma would do well in a home with other confident pets and kids. She gets along well with dogs and would love to have companions with whom to spend all her days. Thelma is ready to embrace a happy, wonderful second chance at life, and she hopes she will get to do that by your side.
