My Story

We often talk about origin stories in Rescue, and Tiana definitely has one of note. This 2 yr old, 42 lb dog was found in the Rio Grand Valley of Texas with a sharp object stabbed into her side. We don’t know how it got there, if it was done by a person or if Tiana fell onto an object and was injured. Either way, there was a young dog wandering around as a stray, injured, starving and in need of help. One of our Rescue partners reached out to us and asked for help. Of course we said yes, so here she is Tiana, the Doberman Princess from Texas. Tiana’s wound was addressed, she was vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped, she still has to be Spayed- but we have scheduled that appointment. Tiana has lived in a house, she is housebroken and dog friendly. Tiana can be a little shy but she warms up to new people. Tiana is a little nervous about going out on a leash, but she has learned how to use the dog door. She runs and plays with her dog friends. She also likes to take naps. Tiana is crate trained and a very sweet girl. Tiana gets really excited around a cat, so we would say no to cats, but yes to just about everything else. YES to a Forever home and YES to YOU! If you think you could be Tiana’s family, submit an application and we will complete an interview, if approved we can set up a meeting. Tiana is being Fostered in CT and can go to Adopters in CT RI NH VT NY & MA- email [email protected] AND submit an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CALR/Dog
