My Story

Adorable & adoptable: Tic Tac! Meet TicTac, the cutest button eyed-boy this side of the San Antonio River. He came to the rescue after being part of a family for eight years and was surrendered through no fault of his own. He was very insecure and scared of just about everything. After a dental and removal of a terribly abscessed tooth, he started feeling much better and seemed a little less anxious about his surroundings. His fosters have worked with him lots, allowing him exposure to other dogs and people and providing him the security and love he needs to be happy. TicTac is a smart guy who walks very well on a leash and loves his daily walks and occasional car rides. He can remove a toy squeaker in no time flat and loves, loves, loves his toys. He gets along well with other people, dogs, children and even the cat in his foster home. He is fully house trained and has full rein of the house day and night. He loves sleeping in bed with his fosters but seems to prefer sleeping in his bed near theirs. He knows how to use a dog door and seems to enjoy exploring the backyard very much. Because TicTac is such a smartie, he needs a family with a strong leader who will make sure he knows he is not the leader of the pack. He is very curious and can be a bit "opportunistic" when the occasion arises. TicTac is a very energetic medium sized eight year old who is ready to be a fun and loving member of a new family.
