My Story

Gorgeous puppy Tifa is a Husky/German Shepherd mix. She has been thriving in her foster home, but is now ready to join her forever family! She's playful, super smart, and working on potty training. She is also learning "sit", "wait", and "no" commands. True to her Husky side, Tifa can have selective hearing when she finds something more interesting than the human calling to her, but she's very food motivated and is becoming more relationship motivated by the day. Tifa would benefit from a family with training experience who know the value of focused one-on-one time and consistency. She is bold, and faces new situations head on and quickly acclimates. She is independent, and learns quickly. Tifa has been fostered in a home with multiple other dogs of various sizes and ages. She has been respectful of the elder dogs, and her best friend is a pom-chi mix who loves to wrestle and play! She would love to have at least one friendly doggy housemate to play with and show her the ropes. She has not yet been exposed to a cat but we are hoping to have information on that soon. She will need an active home with a family willing to provide lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Tifa will make a great on-leash adventure buddy! We anticipate Tifa will be fairly large when full grown based on her breed mix and current size. Her ideal home is with kids age 7+, and breed experience and a tall full fence is preferred. This is not the puppy for a first time dog owner! If your family is a match for this beauty, please visit our website www.pprct.org and fill out an adoption application!
