Est DOB: 9/10/2021 Meet Trestle! His journey with us began when he was trapped after roaming the streets on his own for weeks. Since then, he's been able to enjoy life living inside without a care in the world with his foster family, but he's ready to find a home to call his own. Weighing in at just under 10 pounds, around three years old, and proudly heartworm negative, Trestle has a heart full of love and a spirit that's eager to thrive. He's an adorable terrier mix that looks like the combination of a Yorkie, a lamb, and a dandelion. His adopter will need to get him acquainted with the spay for routine grooming appointments to keep his curly locks in check. Trestle adores all humans and is learning the ropes of canine companionship. While he's not the biggest fan of large dogs, he’s adjusting well to playtime with his new small dog pack at his foster's. True to his street-smart roots, Trestle has a playful, sassy side and might smack talk other dogs every now and then. But don’t worry—his foster said he's easily redirected, and learning how to make friends without recruiting any new gang members. As a former street dog, he’s still working on house training but his foster says he's doing wonderfully in his crate and walks nicely on a leash.
