Maxine’s gorgeous pups are 7 weeks old and will be ready to go home at 8 weeks. Two are female, the rest are male.
We sometimes do DNA on pups to give adopters a better idea of ultimate size, potential energy level and other traits. Of course every dog is an individual, but knowing more about their lineage can help us make the best match for our adopters.
As expected Maxines pups are predominantly Border Collie, with a lot of Aussie, which we also expected, and a sprinkling of other herding breeds and others. Expect energetic, intelligent, highly trainable dogs who need a job or they will make their own entertainment. Exercise, training and mental and physical stimulation are critical to bring out the best in these dogs.
