My Story

THE FOLLOWING PET IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT!!! Details Below...... Meet Trey, a sweet and laid-back 9-month-old pup with a gentle soul and a love for the simple things in life—like lying in a patch of warm sunlight and quietly watching the world go by. Trey is the ultimate companion for anyone seeking a calm, easygoing dog. While he enjoys playing with other dogs, he prefers a slower, more relaxed pace, making him a perfect fit for a household that values both companionship and peaceful moments. Trey is already potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to sit on command, always eager to please and quick to learn new things. Having experienced the hardships of life on the streets, Trey developed a habit of guarding his food and doesn’t like to share his meals or treats. This behavior is completely understandable given his past and can easily be worked on with a little patience and positive reinforcement. Despite this, Trey has absolutely no aggression in him; he’s a soft-hearted boy who can be sensitive to loud noises or chaotic environments, sometimes shutting down when he feels overwhelmed. He would thrive in a quiet, stable home where he can feel safe and secure. Like many young dogs, Trey occasionally gets into blankets or soft toys, but these playful puppy behaviors will fade as he continues to mature. In the right home, Trey will be the perfect balance of affectionate and independent, enjoying some playtime but also content to simply cuddle up and relax with his humans. Whether as an only dog or alongside other canine companions, Trey is looking for a peaceful environment where he can feel loved and understood. Trey is currently being fostered and is ready to find his forever home, where he can enjoy the comfort and warmth of a family who appreciates his calm and loving nature. Trey is located in a foster home and waiting for his next adventure! OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.
