My Story

First impressions when meeting this sweet girl reveal just how stunning she is! Trixie Pixie has one of the most velvety and soft chocolate coats I have ever seen, complemented by the most beautiful golden honey eyes. Its as if she were specially curated in Willy Wonka's chocolate factorybut instead of getting a scrumptious chocolate bar, you get an overly loving, kind, and sweet little girl named Trixie. Unlike a chocolate bar, her sweetness lasts forever, while a chocolate bar's sweetness only lasts a few fleeting moments. Watch her video and instantly fall in love with this sweet girl: https://youtu.be/Xxa_RnB9z50?si=CAmW52yqWvpdz5F8 Trixie is a Lab-Pittie mix, approximately 2 years old, and currently weighs 50 poundsbut shes a tiny 50 pounds. When she curls up in a ball to snuggle on the couch, she barely takes up a single cushion. Shes the perfect sizenot too big, not too small. Trixie is a rescue dog, and like all rescues, her breed and age are always a bit of a mystery, but what we can guarantee is that shes 100% pure love. One thing you will never have to worry about with Trixie is her love for affection. She absolutely melts for itits her love language. While she may be a little shy at first, she just needs a bit of time to decompress in her new home. Before you know it, shell be showering you with gentle kisses and snuggling up next to you on the couch. Shes a total cuddle bug whos more than happy to spend lazy Sundays watching your favorite shows or curling up beside you on chilly winter nights to keep you warm. Trixie has perfectly balanced energya delightful mix of playful and calm. She also has a goofy side that will leave you smiling. She loves playing with people and gets so happy and smiley during playtime that you cant help but grin yourself. Whether youre tossing toys, running around the yard, or just spending quality time with her, Trixie will soak up every moment of your attention like the princess she is. Her ability to find joy in lifes simplest pleasures is truly inspiring and a reminder to savor the little things. Trixie loves to play with toys, anything from a ball to a stuffy, she loves them all. She dreams of having her very own toy box filled with all of her favorite toys in it. Trixie is very dog-friendly and does well with a wide variety of canine companions. Shes comfortable in playgroups with energetic, playful dogs as well as calmer ones. Trixie thrives with dogs that share her calm, cool, and collected demeanor. While she isnt a high-energy playmate, she enjoys short bursts of play with dogs who match her gentle style. In a home, Trixie would do best with medium- to low-energy dogs who respect her space and allow her to relax. Shed also be perfectly content as your one-and-only companion because her love for people is so profound. Trixie has been around cats and did wonderfully during her cat test. While we cant confirm if shes lived with cats before, we believe that with proper introductions, she could happily coexist with feline friends in her forever home. We believe Trixie would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can zoom around, sunbathe on sunny days, or relax with you on the patio while you enjoy your morning coffee or host a family barbecue. Shed also do well with a family that has kids! TRixie has met kids as young as 4 years old to ages 13 and was fantastic around them. She melted into the arms of the 13 year old and gently showered her face with kisses. She was so incredibly patient and respectful around the 4 year old who was teaching her how to do tricks and taking treats from him ever so gently. Trixie was never jumpy around the 4 year old and even gave him her paw when he asked for it. She's so stinking sweet! In a home, Trixie is most comfortable around older kids and she will do best with kids ages 10 and up. Trixie is already a smart cookie who knows basic commands like sit and "shake' and walks beautifully on a leash. Shes crate trained and potty trained, making her an all-around wonderful companion. Doesnt she sound amazing? Thats because she is! Trixie is the perfect girl and will make someone an incredible companion.
