My Story
Adopt Trooper! - sweet little pitty mix puppy
Trooper is the nearly solid white colored pup from our Pitty Committee and is ready to find his forever home. At about 5 to 6 months old and weighing in at around 25 lbs, he’s on track to grow into a sturdy but compact adult, likely reaching 40-50 lbs. This sweet boy has an irresistible smile, a gentle personality, and a love for belly rubs that will melt your heart.
His rescue story began when he was pulled from a ditch near a bar with his brother, after someone witnessed them being abandoned. But despite his rough start, Trooper has blossomed into a playful, affectionate puppy who enjoys spending time with everyone he meets—humans, dogs, and even dog-savvy cats! His moderate energy means he’s just as happy romping around the yard chasing toys as he is relaxing for some quiet time. He particularly loves splashing around in the puppy pool and playing in the yard with the other dogs. He is content with a chew/toy and will plop himself on his doggie bed and hangout.
While he would do well in a home with other dogs or pets it is not required as he would also be perfectly content as an only dog. He has an easygoing nature and is just as happy playing with his toys or settling down on his doggie bed for some quiet time. Give him a good chew toy, and he’ll entertain himself while relaxing by your side. Trooper is an inquisitive, fun-loving pup with a bit of a goofy side! He’s always up for exploring and has even developed a love for snacking on tomatoes from the garden. His playful, curious nature makes him a joy to have around, whether he’s chasing toys, lounging on his doggie bed, or keeping an eye on the tomato plants. This silly boy will definitely bring lots of smiles and laughter to his future family!
Our Pitty Committee are all crate and pee pad trained, 95% house trained, and for their age walk pretty nicely on a leash and harness. They are fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

** Foster based organization (NO shelter/facility). Adoptions will take place in Delaware County, PA. An appointment must be made to meet/adopt. We currently allow adoptions to PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY, VA, WV, OH, MA, RI, VT, NH, and CT residents & may make exceptions to this on a case by case basis. **
