Truffle

Meet Truffle! Just like her namesake, this three-year-old 10-pound Maltese mix is as sweet as can be! Truffle was very overwhelmed at the kennel so one of our amazing volunteers took her for foster. She's a lovey-dovey lady who will happily curl up with you for endless snuggles. She is understandably hesitant in new situations, but is already starting to enjoy life in a home. A fan of leisurely strolls, Truffle appreciates the time to sniff till her heart is content. Her new family will need to be patient while she adjusts to new people and places. With love and encouragement, we can't wait to see the confident, content pup we know she can be! She is getting along very well with the cats in her foster home, and we think she has the capability to live with other animals of a similar size and temperament. Car rides are a bit scary now, but she's slowly getting accustomed to them. She appears to know how to use potty pads so we expect house-training would go smoothly. Based on our evaluation, we feel Truffle would do best in an active, but predictable home with adults or families with kids ages twelve and up. She will need time and encouragement when acclimating to life in her new home. She may have the potential to live with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.
