TUCKER

Tucker was originally rescued in 2022 from a shelter in Texas. He was found in a yard with other starving dogs who had succumbed to starvation or needed to be euthanized because of irreversible, extensive issues. However, Tucker held on and became a survivor. He was adopted later that year but was surrendered back to the rescue in January 2025 because of some major life changes at home. Hecan be shy and hesitant at times. We originally had quite a few requirements for his future home, but right now he is proving to us that is still a happy dog! He is currently being fostered in Portland, OR, with two other dogs and one cat. Tucker has had no issues with any of the animals in the home! We also thought Tucker may have some issues with men, but there is a male in the foster home who Tucker gets along well with. Tucker was attacked by another dog in his past, so we weren't expecting him to be adjusting so well. Training would potentially be beneficial in his future if any issues were to arise. With this said, introductions to new people and new dogs still need to be done carefully in case of any stranger danger he still may have. Tucker continues to prove he willing to overcome all of life's difficulties and live life to the fullest! Tucker is being fostered in Portland, OR but can be adopted anywhere in the PNW.
