My Story
Meet Tuffy!
Age: young
Weight: 8 pounds
Good with: other small dogs and older, respectful kiddos
House trained: not yet (my injury has hindered this a little), but I'm getting more a ware of when I need to go, which helps in my progress!
Crate trained: foster mom puts my in a pack and play made for babies, not a crate, and I do well in it!
Special needs: lower spine injury (when I came into rescue I was dragging my back legs and had no use of them. With hard work, therapy, and determination, I am now walking on all 4 legs again and running to play with friends in the yard!)
As you can see, I'm just a young, little guy. I'm super sweet and love my humans! I'll let you know if new people come into the house, but I warm up quickly, and just hope the visitors will love me! I have been working really hard to recover from my injury, and doing wonderful, but I still have some times that I drag my back legs. Mainly when I get tired after a long day of doing all the things! I'm looking for my very own family who will continue with my rehab and will be patient with me regarding this. Since I couldn't really tell when I had to go potty while my injury was at its worst, it's been a longer process in my house breaking. I wear a belly band inside for now, but foster mom takes me out a lot so I'm getting the hang of going outside to potty. I know that I have a little more work ahead of me, but I also know that I'm going to be an amazing addition to a family! Don't miss out on all I have to offer!
