My Story

A23816 Tundra is a black and white colored, approximately 1-year-old, 38-pound, spayed female, Husky. She entered the shelter as a stray on 11-19-2024 and was altered by our medical staff. Tundra is a friendly, but timid and shy girl here in the shelter. She is nervous in this new shelter environment. Our staff describes her as a wonderful dog. Saying she is really sweet and loves affection. She was easy to leash and excited to go for a walk, very well behaved during our walks. She has had some training and will sit and down upon command. She has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter, no barking at or paying any attention to the noise. We recommend someone familiar with the Husky breed be the adopter, as that energetic, fun-loving true Husky will probably come out of her when she gets comfortable with you and out of the shelter. Tundra will be a loving, loyal companion in her new forever home.
