Turkey is a medium-size 11-month-old Black-Mouth Cur mix who weighs 37 pounds. He's quite the shy guy and is lacking in confidence, he could definitely benefit from someone patient and experienced to help him feel comfortable in a new home. He's treat-motivated so we think he has great potential! He bonds to a person with a slow introduction at his own pace. Turkey can live in a home with other dogs, but would do best with older children, since he can spook easily and would likely be uncomfortable around littles. He was tested for heartworms and Lyme and was negative for both. Turkey will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before leaving for his forever home.
