My Story

Ulene arrived at Horse Creek on November 20, 2024. She is the sweetest little lady you will ever meet! She would make a wonderful addition to a family wanting a partner to go on walks with or to settle in and watch television curled up in your lap. She enjoys spending time in our fenced exercise areas with other dogs. Ulene is a full-grown Miniature Pinscher mix weighing 22 pounds. Wouldn’t you love to give Ulene a long life in your loving home? All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. https://horsecreekwildlife.org/adoption-application/ Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.
