My Story

Velvet is an incredibly sweet one year old girl who was found as a stray on 12/22/24. She is very quiet and respectful in her kennel, but playful and obedient outside. She is on the search for her forever home and is the most deserving! Come meet this good girl in kennel 312, her ID is 7114. She is already up to date on vaccinations, is heart worm negative; and will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
