My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey! I'm Violet Sorrengail! My namesake may have silver hair, but I have a cool silver eye! I'm a German Shepherd/Husky mix girl, I'm about 11 weeks old and weigh around 8 lbs and I might be around 40-50lbs when I'm full grown. I am a social girl and get along with other dogs and people very well. I don't mind kids as long as they are old enough to understand that I'm still a baby and need gentle hands. I also prefer dogs who are less energetic. I haven't met a cat yet, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about one. At first glance I might seem like I'm a shy girl, but really, I'm just living on my own time and I like taking things a bit slow compared to my sister. While I am more of a laid back kind of girl, I'm still smart as a whip and learn very quickly! My foster mom says it's probably because I spend a lot of my time observing my environment. That said, I do still have my high-energy puppy moments and I love to train with my foster mom. She's teaching me all kinds of things, not to brag, but I'm soaking it all up and excelling in all my lessons! I'm already pretty reliable with "leave it" and I can sit, lay down, roll over, stand, and shake on command. I like to do drills on all those commands first thing in the morning, I think it's so much fun, I love to work! When I'm not lounging around, I'm looking to work. I think it's the German Shepherd in me. So it would be really neat if my new forever family was adventurous and was as excited about training as I am. Here's what I'm currently working on: Potty training, I don't have accidents in the house but still need a we-we pad when my foster mom is going to be gone for a while cause I'm young and still can't hold it that long! Walking in heel position, I'm getting good at it though! "Leave it" "Come" "Sit pretty" Crate training - I still need encouragement to go in but I am quiet inside, I like my crate covered. My forever family wish list: An active family Siblings, dog or human, I like both! Someone who will take me out and train with me If you think I could be the girl for you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
