Meet Wallen- Chicken Salad's brother! Wallen came from our rural shelter partner after being brought in with his siblings and momma. Sadly, momma was on the run for some time and had a severely embedded and infected collar. Momma was so nervous her and babies needed to be trapped. Thanks to some amazing community members they made their way to the shelter to receieve the medical care they so desperately needed. Momma got her wounds cleaned and off to a rescue she went! Sadly, her babies did not have a ton of interest as they were terrified and needed baths. After seeing them we quickly scooped them up and to safety in foster they went! Momma was a shepherd mix but both boys are rather large and weigh 25 pounds already at 10 weeks old. Momma was 45 pounds fully grown- so whoever dad was- he was a big dude! Wallen is the sweetest little guy and so brave! He loves people and all other animals. He will make a great addition for most any family!
