My Story

I am Walt. I am from Alabama. From his foster: Meet our special boy, Walt! Also known as Wally, Bert, Curious George, and Walter. He can't wait to come home with you and be your best buddy! Walt is so smart and full of puppy energy! He will look into your soul and you'll believe he understands everything you say. Course that doesn't always mean he'll do what you say, but he sure seems to understand you. He's very much calculated in his thoughts and actions. He's got the cutest face and mouth, just calls for kisses! He's been a rockstar at potty training, after getting on a schedule. He is just starting to go to the door when he needs to go out. Walt's a very curious and adventurous little guy. He loves to instigate play with his littermate brother, rolling around, chewing and chomping his teeth, and showing his moves with his special WWE jumps from the middle of the room. He's submissive when he plays, exposing his belly to anyone and everyone that wants to play, not caring a bit if he's on the bottom of the pile. He can have trouble finding his off button when he's tired (or when the play buddies are tired of him). We find that he does better when you put him in his kennel to help him find that off button or cuddle with him on the couch. He also does very well in the kennel at night or if Foster Mom and Dad are trying to get some work done during the day. He plays hard and sleeps hard! Wally also loves toys, the squeakier the better. He loves to steal them from his brother, but is good when his brother steals them back. More about the game to him, than actually having the toy. He's got a great temperament with other dogs, big and small, littermates, and Fosters, and hasn't found a human he doesn't like. We don't have any cats or small kids around to see if he's ok with them or not. If he's feeling rebellious or extra adventurous, he might go looking for your slipper or shoe to get some attention, but as long as you have plenty of toys and keep an eye on him, he is not destructive at all. We are pretty sure you will love him as much as we do!
