Walter’s bio. Feel free to made adjustments. Can you send me some more photos of him to add to Petfinder? Meet Walter! Walter just turned one year old and currently weighs 36 pounds. He was adopted as a puppy but recently returned to rescue after it was discovered he wasn't compatible with the young grand children in his previous home. Walter is a bit insecure, and while he may come off as shy at first, he is incredibly sweet once he gets to know you—ready to become your best friend! Walter is crate trained and house trained, and he’s currently fostered with other dogs. He loves to play and enjoys their company, but he’s still learning about boundaries. His excitement can sometimes get the best of him, so he appreciates gentle reminders to respect personal space. We are unsure how he is with cats. Despite the recent changes in his life, he is a fast learner and is settling in wonderfully. Walter would thrive in a kid-free home where he can feel safe and secure. Given his fearful and insecure nature, he needs someone who can take on a leadership role, learn his cues, and advocate for him when he needs a little extra space. Walter will also require regular grooming. This goofy boy loves playing with toys and chewing on his Benebones. With his adorable scruffy face and the cutest little prance, Walter has so much potential ahead of him!
