Wednesday

Wednesday is an old soul. Although she is only 1 year old, she is calm and gentle and very sensitive. She has the softest brown eyes and a velvety coat; it is impossible not to fall in love with her. Wednesday has been tested with both dogs and cats and is as gentle with them as she is with people. Her dog test was done with a little senior terrier and Wednesday couldn't have been kinder. Again, so not what you would expect with a 1 year old hound/lab mix. With the kitties, she was somewhat interested but really only sniffed them a couple of times before moving on to sniff other things. Wednesday's main love though is humans. She is clearly searching for a human of her own and would make the most wonderful family dog. Being as gentle as she is she would make a great companion for children. She is easy to walk on leash and LOVES to ride in the car. What she doesn't love is being in the shelter. The noise and the chaos scares her and she shakes and freezes when she has to be taken back to her kennel. Wednesday is the most beautiful girl both inside and out. She has so much love to give and will be loyal to whoever commits to her.
